President’s Letter

As the new President of Pan Gregorian Enterprises of Upper New York I would like to thank all our members for the opportunity and privilege to be your voice as a representative of our group. As we all know the past few years have been very trying for the food service industry and now more than ever it is vital that as a group we stay united, for only in unity there is strength. With myself and our new board of directors guiding Pan Gregorian into the future we have the opportunity at hand to achieve new and even higher levels of success, the ability as a group, now over 500 members strong to negotiate with our manufacturers, vendors and service providers to allow us to remain not only competitive, but competitive and profitable in an economy that as an independent would be out of reach.

While this new board brings a refreshed vision to Pan Gregorian, our core concept has not changed. 
“The goal of Pan Gregorian is to provide our members with low prices and rebate incentive programs from manufacturers and distributors through negotiated contracts. Pan Gregorian Enterprises of Upper New York is a member owned group, where all member restaurants are equal and share on the benefits provided by these programs.”

I will emphasize that we are a member owned group and while our elected board of directors and myself as President have the responsibility to guide the path of Pan Gregorian, it is vital that our membership have an equally as important role, this being the participation in our negotiated programs, bringing to the board any new ideas you may have that you feel would benefit the group and the loyalty to the core concept we have maintained since 1989.

I would like our membership to know that our doors are always open and I am looking forward to meeting each of you at our general assembly meeting scheduled for this fall. Until then you can remain confident in the fact that with this new board in place, you best interests are foremost on our agenda, and as stated, together we can achieve a new level of excellence never before seen in the history of Pan Gregorian. You are a member of the most powerful purchasing group in the Northeast and as your President I will maintain the integrity, growth and the open door policy you not only deserve but should expect from your elected officials.
